Why Use a Potting Bench?

The Gardening Bench is the gateway into all facets of gardening, and greatly ups a player’s Gardening skill. With new recipes available every 50 levels, and new achievements earned through various tasks, gardening can be honed to extremely high levels. To cap off this, a player can invest in the use of a Solar Charm, which restores a little less health than a regular Heal spell, though not by much. The Solar Charm is part of the Gardening pack of twelve and can be used on plants and soil throughout the expansion. This allows for more frequent use of the Gardening Bench, as well as the ability to place several plants on one. Crafting one item significantly increases a player’s level, and gives extra crafting resources.

With this in mind, it is little wonder that the Gardening Bench has become such a sought after gardening tool. Currently, there are four types of benches in the game, each divided up into their own different types of growth stages. These include the Lily Pad, Lily Table, Sunflower Bushel, and Garden Bench.

One of the most popular accessories for a gardening bench is the Gardening Stool, which allows players to restock their plants and work around their pots and shelves. When placed inside a structure, the potting bench will reset itself, allowing for another placement of the same or different pot. Different types of structures will have a different style of potting bench, such as wooden planters or shelves. A player can even have two different models for each structure, allowing them to restock their plants as needed. The bench will allow for the expansion of gardening by having many different items on it at once. It can even be decorated and will create a display of plant life for all to see.

Some of the best potting benches are made from both metal and wood, allowing for the expansion of various styles of furniture. Some models are made of metal and have a large wheel on one side with a handle on the other for easy mobility. Others are made entirely out of wood, making it the perfect place to store and tend to gardening tools.

There are many different designs available for a potting bench. Some of the most common are those that have an arbor design on one side, with two support brackets at the top. Other designs are those that have a seat and a backrest, with the ability to rest on a work surface. Some even contain built in gliders for ease in reaching tall plants. No matter the desired style, a person can find a perfect potting bench for their needs, creating a comfortable spot for all to work and enjoy gardening.

Many people enjoy using a potting table for the added workspace it provides. Unlike a simple table or bench, a potting table allows for the construction of frames for support as well as storage of gardening tools and more. A person can place plants on the lower shelf for support, while tools may be stored on the upper shelf. Using a potting table frees up floor space in a garden where it would otherwise be cluttered. A person may even choose to create a pergola around the frame to provide shade from direct sunlight. Regardless of the choice, a person can enjoy the peace and comfort that a potting bench provides.
