Gardening with leon

Leon’s full service gardening team will do all of your planting, weeding, pruning, mulching and more. Get your weekends back and let Leon’s experienced team do the work for you.

Community gardens make important contributions to all aspects of sustainability by saving participants money, increasing access to fresh and nutritious food, reducing the use of chemical pest control products and fertilizers, and absorbing and storing carbon, keeping it out of the atmosphere and combating climate change.

Learn how to build your own high tunnel hoop house with Leon Sloan, who has been greenhouse gardening in Southern Oklahoma and Texas for over 40 years.

Workshop is $20 per person (children not included).

This workshop requires pre-registration. Click here to register. Space is limited. Registration opens in January. This event is sponsored by the City of Tallahassee Community Garden and Leon County Extension Office. The community garden is located at 6440 Evers Road at Raymond Rimkus Park.
