In the latest series, gardeners tour the tropical dream garden of a young couple in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, learn how to add colour to a sunny courtyard using trailing plants and meet a ceramic artist who uses native seed pods as his medium. We also get up close with some of the country’s most colourful birds and visit a garden that is both functional and artful.
In a special episode, the team tackle the challenge of creating a water-wise garden in a very tight space, and a new gardener seeks out ways to grow his or her favourite vegetables. We get an insight into the world of organic vegie growing with Peter Cundall, who shows us how to manage a patch over the course of a year, explaining all the jobs that need to be done each month and season.
A celebration of the life and work of the late, great, award-winning Australian broadcaster, author and ardent gardener, Peter Cundall. A long-time fixture on Australian talkback radio and an early convert to organic vegie gardening, Peter was well known for his 18 years hosting the popular Gardening Australia.
